If you want a little fun and class with your vacation, or you’re hooked on shows like Bridgerton, you’ll love Old Westbury Garden. This former estate of businessman John Shaffer Phipps was a massive mansion, which eventually was converted into a museum home in 1959. Although it’s a classy and interesting museum, you won’t be able to stop looking around for details and fun intricacies that catch your eye. You can visit a dozen times and still see something new every visit.
Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium

The Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport is on the North Shore of Long Island. Named for William Vanderbilt the second, it’s at home on his former 43-acre estate. Its striking Spanish Baroque architecture and incredibly intricate detailing make it gorgeous to look at, but the real winner is on the inside. The planetarium offers laser light shows, summer night dances, car shows, school programs, and more. Every time you visit, you’ll be stunned by another activity the museum offers.
Montauk Point Lighthouse
